[from our correspondent.] CHRISTCHURCH, Spril 22. Mr George Payling, the present Mayor, and Councillor Allison have been nominated for the Mayoralty of the city.

DUNEDIN, April 22. Councillors McDonald and Walker are the only nominations for the City of Dunedin Mayoralty. HOKITiKA, April 22. Mr H. L. Michel has been re-elected Mayor of Hokitika unopposed! TIMARU, April 22. Two candidates have been nominated for the • Mayoralty—Messrs J. Craigie and T. Hawkey. The former is the present Mayor, and the latter has been a member of the Borough Council for fourteen years.
