THE RECEPTION AT

AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, April 21. The Mayor has written to the Prime Minister, suggesting that the Government should prepare for distribution to all the men of the American Fleet a card bearing a suitable inscription and views of "New Zealand / scenery, as a permanent reminder of their visit. Mr Myers also suggests that an invitation be extended to Mayors of the cities and boroughs of the Dominion to take part in the reception of the Fleet on its arrival at Auckland.
