THE FEDERATION MOVEMENT.

MARLBOROUGH SUPPORT.

At a recent meeting of the Marlborough Shearers' Industrial Union of Workers it was decided to submit the following recommenndations to the members, and at a general .meeting held last Saturday night this decision was confirmed. The resolutions, which are being sent to members in the form of ballot papers, returnable on or before May 2nd, are as follows: (1) "That this Union approves of the federation of all Shearers' Unions in the Dominion of New Zealand."

(2) "That the Executive of this Union be authorised to take proceedings necessary for obtaining the formation of a Federated Shearers' Industrial Union of Workers."

The Union has become a subscriber to the Journal of the Department of Labour.
