MELBOURNE, April 21

A dreadful railway collision occurred late last night near Braybrook Junction, where the Bendigo and Ballarat lines meet

A heavily-laden passenger tram from Bendigo crashed into a;" train which had just arrived from Ballarat. Twenty-seven persons were lolled outright, and about one hundred injured. .
