HSR CMP & ii&o%tQ TUT I

Mr. W.J. URWIN Plumber and Gasfitter, Petone, met with an accident, the result of which might have been serious but for the prompt measures taken. Mr. Irwin was assisting to carry a heavy roll of lead, and when lowering this to the ground, one end fell with some force, throwing the bulk of the weight on Mr. Irwin's shoulder, overtaxing the muscles and nerves of the neck and head. Shortly afterwards the whole trouble seemed to concentrate in the left eye, inflammation setting in most acutely. He says: "For over a month the pain and torture of my eye has been enough to drive one crazy. Around the cheek-bone, across the forehead, and in the eye has been pain like the constant pricking of tin tacks. No ease during the day, nor sleep at night. It was much swollen, and the white of the eye red as a piece of raw meat. I procured eyedrops, lotions, Witch Hazel, and other things in turn, result the same-no improvement. By this time the eye=lids were affected, and so badly swollen and sore that to attempt to open the eye caused the sides to crack. While in this condition I decided to try PLANTEKOA OINTMENT, having heard good accounts of it. I purchased a box from Mr. Aplin, Chemist, Jackson Street, and the OINTMENT was applied as soon as I got home. The first two or three applications made me wince, and caused some smarting, but after that it was all right, and from the first day the improvement was most marked, and I cannot too strongly recommend PLAN. TEKOA OINTMENT." UAN" PRICE, 1/. ft g/.. The 2/. size contains four times the quantity.
