In the Magistrate's Court this morning, John William Morris, alias Kid Keddell, was committed for trial for alleged •misappropriation of £6, belonging to his former employer, the owner of a chaff-cutting plant. Mor-ris-was employed in Adgust,1 1906; as general hand, and collected some accounts ©n liis employer's^behalf: During his abseWee he collectedahout £31; -and th^ig'disappeared. He was arrested at Wellington1 on Christmas Eve.
