THRESHING RATES.
TO THE EDITOR
Sir, —In reference to your local in last night's paper re tne above, allow me to say that the letter of the secretary of the Traction Union to the Farmers' Union did not touch upon the matter of prices, that, question always being settled at the .annual., meeting, which is held at the end of November. Surely the members of the^ Farmers' Union do not think the mill-owners can feed their man in charge, insure all hands on the. mill, and go to the expense of providing,'maintaining and hauling about the country a kitchen and thresh for the same jta*ice as formerly. Until receipt of r'epl*- to my letter of 7th October to the Farmers' Union, my Union is in the dark.
W. D. PIKE, Secretary Traction Union
