TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS.

Attention is draw* to the-railway train arrangements for Wednesday and Thursday. Holiday excursion fares will be issued on both days, available for return up to and including Tuesday, Ist October. For the convenience of country and ™t<m residents wishing to attend Po*lard s opera, the evening trains will be delayed—from Blenheim till 10.30 p.m. to Seddon, and 10.35 p.m. to Picton On Dominion Day (Thursday) special reduced fares will be made from Blenheim, Grovetown, Spring Creek and Tua Marina to Picton, and should be the means of inducing a large number of people to visit the picturesque seaside for a day's outing. In addition to its many natural attractions, preparations are in hand for the enjoyment of visitors and the dey's celebrations. A special passenger tram will leave Blenheim for Picton at 9.35 a.m. in addition to the ordinary 10.dU a.m. train, and for those who desire to return home early a special tram will leave Picton in the afternoon at i.dU pm. A special train will also leave Blenheim for Seddon at 7.15 p.m., so that no inconvenience will be caused by the 8.15 p.m. train being delayed. Should the weather be favourable, Picton will doubtless be the rendezvous for most of our holiday seekers on Dominion Day.
