Penalties.—Flat Races: The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71bs; and or any additional race or races a further penalty of 51bs. Hurdles: The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs; and for any additional hurdle race 71bs extra. Definition of a Hack.—A Hack is a horse that has not won a race of the value of 100 soys., or races of the collective value of 250 soys up to date of nomination.
