WEDDING AT BLIND RIVER.

Blind River district was en fete on Tuesday last, a circumstance which is unusual in that quiet locality. The occasion was the marriage of Miss Fissenden to Mr Norman J. Catley. Many of the relatives of both parties, as well as neighbours and other friends, assembled to do honour to tlie occasion. The Rev. W. Finlayson was the officiating minister, and Mr P. Fissenden, junr., gave the bride away, lne bride and bridesmaids were beautifully dressed in silk, white and cream respectively, arid the bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr S. Catley, in the absence of the brother of the bride through illness. Following the event of the afternoon, quite a number remained for the evening, and with others who then assembled at the school, enjoyed the proceedings in the usual manner while the moon shone.
