ANTWERP, Sept. 18. The wool sales have opened, with. 'a* fair attendance and good animation. Fine merinos are well contested, and h:v3 advanced five centimes; ordin-^ aries five centimes; lambs equal to* J.ily rates; crossbreds quiet and neglected.
Two thousand five hundred and thirty-five bales of La Plata were offered, and 947 sold.
