INAUGURATION OF A FUND

An Empire Education Fund was inaugurated at a crowded meeting last ■night. ■ •Lord Milner said tfchat the movement was to familiarise the youth with Imperial problems, create a spirit of reverence and awe for the Empire, and ©rush light jingoism. Mr Deakin declared that adventurers of the old type were still required in „ Australia. The British youth ought to be tatigfet in the schools of the opportunities existing under the flag. .
