LONDON QUOTATIONS.
LONDON, April 23. Copper, £100 per ton; tin, spot £188 10s per ton, three months, '£186 10s per ton; pig-iron, 36s 3d per ton •, lead £20 7s 6d per ton. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,995,000 quarters,
and for the Continent 2,355,000 quarters. Atlantic shipments amount to 212,000 quarters and'Paeific to 25,000 quarters. Three Australian cargoes have been sold, prices ranging from 30s 7£d a quarter to 31s 3d. Shares—Banks of Australasia £98 New South Wales £49 10s, Union £59 10s, others unchanged. The report of the Australian and New Zealand Mortgage Company shows a profit of £65. The report of the Orient Steam Navigation Company shows a profit of £17,950. A dividend of 5 per centum on deferred shares is recommended.
