LONDON, April 11. 'The Earl of Cromer, British-Agent in Egypt, has resigned, on the ground of ill-health. ■ " *
Sir Edward.Grey, Foreign Secretary, states that the present policy in Egypt will be continued.
Sir John Eldon Gorst will succeed Lord Cromer.
