Nominations for Events 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 15, and\l6 (with money enclosed) will close with the Secretary, at Mr Fairclough's Dental Rooms, on Saturday, 6th April,, 1907.> Handicaps will be declared on Wednesday, 10th April, 1907. : Acceptances close on Saturday, 20th April, 1907, for Events 3, 4,. 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 15, and 16, with the Secretary, at Mr Fairclough's Dental Rooms, Blenheim, up to 9 p.m. All other entries will close oii the ground. Letters or telegrams bearing date of Nomination or Acceptance will be accepted, but any,entry made by wire must be confirmed according to the Rules of the N.Z.A.U. before the competitor can be handicapped. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1^ All athletic events will be conducted under the Rj|les of the - New Zealand Athletic Union, and the competitors' attention is especially drawn to Rule 15 of the Constitutions, and 13 of Regulations, i.e., " That every competitor must be registered and entry fees paid before competing, otherwise he is liable to disqualification, and will not receive any prize-money." 2. All Cycle Events will be conducted under the Rules of the League of New Zealand Wheelmen. 3. Winning competitors in either Cycling or Running events may, if preferable, take trophies in lieu of cash. 4. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, before or after the events, to make a declaration as to his identity or the correctness of I his performances, and may require him |to prove his identity further than by j declaration, should they think fit to do so. : , 5. Any rape may be run off in heats at the discretion of the Committee. 6. All 100 yards and 120 yards races will be run off in tapes. 7. The Committee reserve the right to have any competitor re-handicapped after publication of handicaps. 8. Nominators must send, in their last two years' performances (private matches included), and if they have not competed^ within that time they must send in their last four performances. 9. The Gommittee reserve the right to postpone the Sports from day to day through the inclemency of the weather. 10. Any rider in cycling events looking round will be fined 2s 6d. A. J. FISHER, Hon.
