Maiden Handicap, of 20 soys; second liorse to receive 3 soys from , the stake. For horses that have I ne7er won a race exceeding 6 soys I in value. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 10s. One and a half miles. 2. Stewards' Handicap, of 20 soys; second horse to receive 3 soys from the stake.- Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 10s. One and a half miles. 3. Wairau Trotting Club Handicap, of 40 soys; second horse to receive 5 soys from the stake. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 5.50 or better. Nomination, 15s; acceptance, 15s. Two miles. 4. Ladies' Bracelet, of 15 soys; second horse to receive 3 soys from the stake. Nomination, 7s 6d; acceptance, 7s 6d. Horses to be nominated in the name of a lady. One and a half miles. 5. Dash Handicap, of 20 soys; second horse to receive 3 soys from the stake. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 10s. One mile. 6. President's Handicap, of 30 soys; j second horse to receive 5 soys from the stake. Nomination, 15s; acceptance; 10s. Horses in this I event will be handicapped to do 4.20 or better. One and a half miles. 7. Grandstand Handicap, of 20 soys; second horse to receive 3 soys from the stake. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 10s. Once round (about a mile and a quarter). » All races saddle or harness. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations tor all events will close on SATURDAY. 23rd March, at 9 p.m. at the Secretary s office. Handicaps; will appear on SATURDAY, 30th March. Acceptances for all events will close on SATURDAY, April 6th, at 9 p.m. at the same place. 2. All races to be run under the rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. 3. All nomination and acceptance fees must bo paid before any horse will be allowed to weigh out. 4. By entering a horse the nominator and every person having any interest in such horse shall be deemed to accept all conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these rufes 5 and be debarred i'rom questioning any action or conduct of any official of a trotting club or racing club in respect to such horSe or of any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for by Rule 93, Rules of Trotting. 5.
