EGG-LAYING.
LINCOLN COLLEGE COMPETITION.
CHRISTCHURCH, March 11
Last week's statement in connection with the Utility Poultry Club's second Egg-laying Competition at Lincoln College shows that 377 eggs were laid during the week, making the total to date' 51,204. The best totals for the week were: —H. Hawke (Greytown), Silver Wyandottes, 29; M. Blaricfe (Petersham, N.S.W.), Silver Wyandottes, 26; A. W. V. Clark (Bromley), Golden Wyandottes, 19; J. Steer (Greymouth), White( Wyandottes, 18; Allan Petrie (Milton),- Silver Wyandottes), 18; A. L. Webster (Greytown), Silver Wyandottes, 16; J. Ashton (Hanmer), Silver Wyandottes, 15. The highest totals to date are:—M. Blanch (Petersham, N.S.W.), Silver Wyandottes, 1034; J. Ashton (Hanmer), Silver Wyandottes, 852; F. O'Brieh (St: Albans}; Silver Wyandottes, 804; Mrs Gordon (Clive), Brown Leghorns, 790; Mrs J. Mills (Dunedin), Roseeombed Brown Leghorns, 780; J. Jackman (Christchurch), Silver Wyandottes, 779; H. Pannell (Christchurch), Buff Leghorns, 752; H. Walton (Mataura), White Orpingtons, 750; A. L. Webster (Greytown), Silver Wyandottes, 728; W. E.
