WELLINGTON, Jan. 8. The reciprocal Customs treaty between South Africa and New Zealand has been gazetted. It provides that the duties on goods the produce or manufacture of New Zealand imported into the South African colonies (Cape Colony, Natal, Orangia, the Transvaal, and Southern Rhodesia) shall be as follows: Bran Is, flour 2s 3d, oats Is lOd, wheat Is per cental; butter 2. cheese 12 per cent, ad valorem; meats Id 1b; al] other goods except spirits, 2,0 per cent, less than the duty which would otherwise be paid. , The duties on goods the produce or manufacture of the South African colonies imported into New Zealand shall be: *cathers 15 per cent, ad valorem, fish lid lb, fruits, dried and green iree; maize 6d, sugar Is 8d per cental; tobacco, manufactured, 2s 6d per lb; tea not otherwise exempt, Id lb; wines other than sparkling, 2s per gallon; wines, sparkling, 5s per gallon ; all other goods except spirits, 25 per cent, less than the duty which would otherwise be paid.
