ANNUAL SHOW.

The annual Show was brought to a successful close yesterday, when the attendance is allowed to have constituted a record. It is estimated that the number on the ground must have been dose upon .6000, and a betterdressed or more prosperous looking gathering it would be difficult.to.. find anywhere. The proceedings were characterised by the same excellent management apparent on the first day, and Mr Corry, the indefatigable Secretary, and his staff deserve the highest commendation for the smooth manner in which the official machinery was kept running, and for the unfailing courtesy with which all seekers after information were treated. The proceedings yesterday were greatly enlivened by the Hibernian Band, under Bandmaster Hale, which played a series of bright selections in front of the grandstand. The stand.was extensively patronised, but the bulk of the visitors promenaded the outside of the ring, and watched the interesting exhibition of the horses and the wood-chopping. The guessing competitions have not yet been decided. .Below will be found the balance of :the prize schedule not available for yesterday's issue:—
