OUR RECIPES. — *—: VEGETABLE PIE. : Cover the bottom of a well-buttered pie dish with thick slices of tomato then put a layer of mashed potatoes and with alternate layers fill the dish nearly to thg top. Season with pepper and salt, over all pour a beaten egoand finish off with a thick crust of bread crumbs. Bake till done.
