COWS ON THE RAILWAY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—When the 10.30 a.m. train from Blenheim to Picton arrived at Para station yesterday there were about forty head of cattle grazing on the railway line, and this is a common occurrence, on road as well as rail. Surely ■'' the different departments flight to interfere in this matter, as IR-ious consequences might be the result.—l am, etc., COWBOY.
