HOCKEY.
A meeting of all interested in forming a men's hockey clrtb was held in the Picton Literary Institute on Wednesday evening. Mr L. W. Rollingshaw was voted to.the chair, and it Avas decided by all present to form a club, called the Arapawa Hockey Club, and the colours for the season are to b« yellow and black, Thursday andSaturday to be practice days. The season will open on the 14th inst.- with a match between teams selected by the Ciiptain and Vice-Captain.
The election of officers resulted as fellows:—President, Dr Redman"; Vice-Presidents, Messrs Greensill, Storey, Newman, Nicoll, Madsen, and S. Fell; Captain, Mr L. W. Rollingsl'.aw;1' Vice-Captain, Mr F. Scott; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr T. Morrison ; Selection Committee, Messrs D. Godfrey, J. Godfrey, and F. Scott.
The Marlborough team 'to play igainst High School to-morrow is as follows:—Misses E. Foster, W. Beation, D. Clutten, K. Furness, M. Buckhurst, Shand, A. Dodson, E. McKenzie, D. Waddy, M. Smale, D. Heffer; emergency, K. Scott-Smith.
