THE TE AUTE COMMISSION.
COMMENDATION OF THE TRUST. INDUSTRIAL LINES A FAILURE. [press association.] WELLINGTON, June 6. The Te Ante Commission this morning examined Bishop Wallis and Mr Quick, solicitor to the Trustees of Wanganui College. Both considered that the terms of the Trust had been carried out as far as circumstances permitted.
Letters were produced written by the late Bishop Hadfield, who said that at the commencement the school was carried out on industrial lines, but it was found that this did not work.
