[PRESS ASSOCIATIOIf.] : (Received June 6, 11:55 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 6. A cable has been received by the Underwriters to the effect that the. French: barque Cassard was wrecked at tha Falkland Islands. All hands were saved, and landed on the Islands. The Cassard was homeward bound from Sydney, with a cargo of '27,000 bags of wheat. The Underwriters have also received cables reporting that afire occurred in- No. 4 hold of the steamer Perthshire, and. that part of the cargo was jettisoned. ■ - Regarding the fire on the steadier Waimate, advices state that it occurred in No. 4 hold.
