WHAT A NELSON MAN SAYS.

What a Nelson man says always interests Blenheim people. There is so much in common between these towns that the happenings of one always awakes a responsive chord m the hearts of the inhabitants of the other. Therefore the statement of Mr J. Bartlett, gardener, Grove Street, the Wood, Nelson, which we print below, will have weight with Blenheim people. Mr Bartlett says:—"More than two years ago I made a statement to the effect that Doan's Backache Kidney Pills had cured me of kidney trouble. The statement has been published from time to time in the papers, and is correct in every particular. In fact, the cure has proved a permanent one. I am as well, to-day as when I made the statement, and I have never used the medicine, unless a dose or two, not worth mentioning. They are grand pills, and I have urged all who have asked my advice to use them. I had been afHicted with the kidneys more or less for several years. I blamed it to having to stand too much. Pain in the back was my worst symptom, and this was very bad at times." Mr Bartlett has also something to say about Doan's Ointment:—"My little girl had eczema very badly at the back of her ear for some considerable time. Two years ago 1 got Doan's Ointment, and used it with splendid success. In fact, the one pot cured it. No sign of the trouble appeared for six months, when the old sore seemed to be returning. However, we used Doan's Ointment, and it cured her a second time, and this time permanently, for she has been free of it ever since, a period of eighteen months. I think this ointment is incomparable for skin diseases.'
