The assassin killed another soldier with a revolvershot before he himself was shot. The soldiers attacked the bystanders, wounding eleven and killing three. Terrorists have been hunting Constantmoff .since May, 1905, when he ordered the soldiers to fire on a Socialist procession, killing 30. ' A number of St. Petersburg workmen stopped and maltreated Father John of Kronstadt.
