PROJECTED DEPARTURES.
Penguin, for Wellington, this day, at y.30 p.m. Opawa, for AVellington, Wednesday, at 5.30 p.m. Penguin,- for Nelson, Wednesday,^ at 6.30 p.m. NguiTguru, for Wellington, Wednes\Vaihi, for (Velfingtbii, Wednesday. The steamer Alexander is still engaged in taking sheep from Pelorus Sound to Lyttelton. , Owing to the wet weather delaying loading operations at Picton, the Opawa will not leave for Wellington until to-morrow night.
The steamer Baden-Powell left Wellington on Sunday for Tata Island, where she will load limestone for the Cement Works at Picton. The vessel has been engaged to run in this trade for some time.
The Union Company advise that the Wainui was bar-bound outside Greymouth all day yesterday, but crossed inwards at 7 o'clock this morning. Her movements as we go to press are therefore uncertain.
