PIGEON MATCH —for the— CHAMPIONSHIP OF NEW ZEALAND. rpHE Eighth Annual Sweepstake JL Pigeon Match for the Championship of New Zealand will be held under the auspices of the New Zealand Gun Club Association. The conditions of the match are given below. The winner, in addition to 60 per cent, of the sweepstake, will be awarded the Championship Medal, presented by the members of the Marlborough Gun Club. The Match will be held on Messrs Redwood Bros.' Grounds, Spring Creek, near Blenheim, Marlborough, on THURSDAY, 31st MAY, 1906. The day following the Marlborough Gun Club's Annual £100 Handicap. Shooting to commence at 9.30 a.ni. ENTRANCE FEE. An entrance fee of £3 for each com* petitor will be charged. Proceeds to be divided amongst the three highest scorers in the proportions set forth below. . ' * PRIZES. Ist—Championship Medal and sixty (60) per cent, of Sweepstake. 2nd.—Cash, twenty-five (25) per cent. of Sweepstake. " 3rd.—Cash, fifteen (15) per cent, of Sweepstake.
