LATE LOCALS.
In the Police Court this morning, a prohibition order, which was not opposed, was granted; and a "first offender," charged with drunkenness, was remanded to Picton for eight days.
A quiot but interesting wedding was solemnised yesterday afternoon, the parties to which were Miss Amy Parrish and Mr Ramsay Donald,, of Wellington. The ceremony took place at the residence of Mr and Mrs William Litchfield, of Springlands, relatives of the bride ; and the Rev. W. O. Robb was the officiating minister. The happy couple were the recipients of many good wishes and presents. Later ill; the day, they left for their new home in Wellington.
