POTATOES
The scarcity of potatoes that was go noticeable at the early part of last week has now (says the Wellington " Post ") somewhat abated, owing to fair supplies comiiig from all districts, consequently prices have receded £2 to £3 per ton, the wholesale market rates ruling during the past few days being from£9 to £11.
