ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

[press association.^

NELSON, March 15,

Reginald Walker, 'aged 18, tho son of a farmer-at-Richmond',* took a gun for the purpose of shooting on Tuesday night, and as he did not return, search parties went out on the hills. His ;hat was found in the reservoir which supplied the borough. The water was run off, and Walker's body found.

The theory is that the lad's hat blew off as he was passing the reservoir, and in trying to recover it he fell in, and not being able to swim, was drowned. ■'■■•.
