'.The " Times V St. Petersburg correspondent states that Father Gapon was arrested at St. Petersburg. His arrest is_ ascribed to the fact that he was seeking to make a clean breast of his relations with the Government.

There is a great outcry at the publication of a pamphlet inciting the people to murder the Jews. It is endorsed by the censor and published by the " Novoe Vremya." It accuses Ceunt Witte of a Jewish conspiracy. The Union of Russian people, which claims the authorship, is enrolling patriots and distributing revolvers.
