In the matter of "Tho Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and the Acts amending the same. THE Awatere Koad Board hereby give Public Notice that such Board proposes to raise a Special Loan of Four Thousand Pounds for the undermentioned undertakings:— a. Purchasing Eoad-making Mac- • hinery and Plant 2000 b. Towards constructing new Koad, Dumgree ... ... •<• P®®, c. Towards forming, a-nd gravelling Eoad &c, from Lion's Back Koad to new Flaxbourne Koad ... 300 D. Towai'ds forming and gravelling Eoad &c, from Section 3 to Eun 137, Eichmond Brook ... 100 c. Towards forming and gravelling Eoad at King's Flat ... 100 F. Towards forming and gravelling Eoad from Grassmere to Clarence Bridge ... ... 900 g. Towards Protective Works at Woodman's Bend ... ... 100 | .£4OOO AND to make an Annual Eecurring Special Eate of one-fourteenth of a penny on the Unimproved Value of all Rateable Property in the said Koad Board District, as Security for the Interest and Sinking Fund in connection with such Loan. The whole of the Loan is to be re-pay* able at the expiration of 32 years from the date of the raising of the Loan.
