Mr Molntyre, the travelling representative of the Exhibition Commissioners, visited Picton yesterday , and interviewed the Mayor a n a several councillors He gave them an outline ot the Exlnbiton scheme, and they promised to go into the matter and help financially and otherwise as far as possible. Yesterday Mr Mclntyre received a wire from the Executive Commissioners at Chnstchurchin regard to theentries of wool—a question which has largely exercised the mind of wouldbe exhibitors in Marlborough, and 7* wa,s the subject of .discussion at Thursday's meeting.
