[PRESS ASSOCIATION.! (Received Feb. 9, 9.12 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 9. Mr Traverner, Agent-General for Victoria, in ail interview, urged Lord Carrington (President of the Board of Agriculture) to introduce a new Butter Bill. .
Lord Carrington said he was anxious to do all possible. He would appoint a Select Committee of the House of Commons to take evidence on the whole question of moisture-blending and faking, with a view to framing a Bill for the protection of producers and ocnsumers, which he hoped to pass by June . ■ ..
