AN ANKLE SLIGHTLY INJURED

[PKESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received Nov. 17, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 17. While shooting at Old Windsor with Prince Nicholas of Greece, King Edward stepped into a rabbit hole. He fell heavily, breaking the stock of his unloaded gun in several places. He complained of acute pain just above the right ankle.

The head gamekeeper rubbed the injury while King Edward was seated on the ground until.a carriage conveyed him to the castle. He was able to walk inside with difficulty.

It was found that the tendon of the ankle was slightly injured. He is doing well. No serious consequence is expected.
