N.S.W LAND SCANDAL.

MR CRICK'S CASE

[PKESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received Nov. 17, 11.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 17. In the Crick case, after examining Mr Houston and Mr Bowes in reference to his banking accounts, produced before the Land Commission, Mr Crick raised the point that Justice Owen went outside the Statute law, and acted illegally in administering the oath of secrecy to Bowes before the latter commenced the examination of the banking accounts. He said the matter would have to be dealt with in another Court. He obtained an adjournment until Tuesday with a view of getting counsel's opinion whether the matter should be decided by the Full Court.
