TOOTH-POWDER VERSUS GUNPOWDER. . Prc*e Association. Electric Telegraph Copyright. Adelaide, September 6. The Governor opened the Australasian Medical Conference. Professor Starling, in his presidential address, warned t^e public of the danger attending neglect of vaccination. Dealing with the deterioration of the race, he declared that the cry, 41 Back to the land/ might have a deeper significance than the mere desire to fill up blank spaces on the map. It was rare to see even a child with a sound set of teeth. There was much truth in the observation that "toothpowder might serve aju^g—iJStter * —••« national protectioji^£3figunpowder."
