CHARGE OF ROBBERY.

Thr hearing of the charge against Wiiiiam P. Foley was concluded yes terday afternoon. Following is the additional evidence:— Bridget Foley, mother of accused, gave evidence as to Constable Carmody comic g to her residence on Friday and arresting hc-r son. Juli&n Foley, sister of acensod, said she v?a3 with her mother when Constable Carraody cama to arrest her brother. She gave evidanee eorrobo ratlve of that given by Mrs Foley. She heard her brother come iuto the room in which her mother slept on Tuesday night. He asked her for the matches. She did not kcow whether her mother woke then. She had no idea what time ifc was. Accusp.d was committed for trial at the next- sittin .s of the Supreme Court to be h,ld at Blenheim on November 15th. Bail was allowed in the same I sureties.
