Press Association. Mectria Telegraph. Copyright, r WELLINGTON, September 7th". The expedition to the Three Kings to recover the treasure lost on the Elingamite sailed this morning. The Wellington Young Meirs Christian Association to-day received intimation from Mrs W. It. Avmiams that she had resolved to offer a site for the Association's proposed building, a piece of land in Willis Street, with a frontage of 34ft and a depth of 140 ft. The land is valued, with buildings now on it, at £2800. NEW PLYMOUTH, September 6th. In connection with the Richmond bankruptcy, Edgar Watt, land agent, has served Govett, the solicitor for the bankrupt, and George, a crditor in the estate, with writs claiming £5000 damages in each case for alleged slander.
AUCKLAND, September 7th. Ernest Wilson, a fairly young man, was arrested yesterday, charged with having committed bigamy on June 6th by marrying one Annie Keiller Jones at Auckland. He was remanded for eight days on bail.
