STOCK SALE.

The N<~w Zealand Loan and Mercantile. Agency Company, Ltd., report that at their Seddon sale on Wednesday last they scored the highest price ever given for ewes in Marlborough, selling on account of Mr D. Fleming, of Seddon, a beautiful line of 240 2 tooth Corriedale ewes at one guinea per head to Mr F. W. Bursill, of Sedgemere. Other sales were—On account of Richmond Brook Station ; 565 threequarter bred ewes, 2?tooth, at 17s lOd ; 465 three-quarter bred wethers, 4-tooth stores,, 17s 2d. Oh account of other clients: Crossbred ewes, at 8s; crossbred lambs, passed in at lls 6d ; crossbred wetbers, 2-tootb, passed in at i4s. .
