The Labor Conference adopted a prelude party platform, with a view to clearly defining the aims of politically organised labor.
The platform is as follows:—The cultivation of Australian sentiment, based on the maintenance of racial purity and the development in Australia of an enlightened and selfreliant community; the securing of the full result of their industry to all producers by the collective ownership of monopolies; and the extension of the industrial and economic functions of the State and municipality.
