PICTON HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

The Pioton Society was fortunate as regards the weather, and also in the continued interest displayed in the Show held yesterday, though some Strong supporters were conspicuous from the display by their absence. Nevertheless, there were over three hundred entries, the most entries in any class being 22 for the Union Company's prize of a return ticket to Wellington, for the best pound cake.
