At dawn oa Sunday the Japanese front extended twenty miles, the left being near Anfcung and the right opposite Mako, but separated by the Aiho river.
The Times declares the engagement was an epoch making feat of arms.
St. Petersburg is still without official news of the final result, though alarming reports are current.
French and Russian stocks are affected, and there are prospects of a Russian loan being declared.
Italian telegrams state the Russians lost two thousand. The soldiers became panic stricken owing to sharpshooters killiog many of the officers.
