At the Medical Conference to day Dr Valentine read a paper on an inouiry into the prevalence of tuberculosis in New Zealand, with some suggestions as to its administrative control.
Dr Mason contributed a paper on small-pox. ■ Dr J. A. Gilrutb. gave a demonstration of a method of conferring im munity by the use of virulent cultures. The annual dinner of the Association took place to night. To-morrow a paper on responsibility in crime will be read by Dr Gow. Judges of the Supreme Court, Magistrates, and members of the legal profession have been invited to take part in the discussion on this paper.
