WANGANur, July 20. A young Maori woman, the wife of Neil Wilson, Kuangaroa, committed suicide this morning by taking strychnine. Her husband went outside, and returning a little time after found his wife on the floor, and a bottle containing strychnine on the table. Emetiew were applied, bub unavailingly. Deceased was. depresssed owing to the loss of her child, two months ago. Tauranga, July 20.

Some boys wero shooting with a pea rifle in the township of Tepuke, when one of the bullets struck a Maori standing near in the left breast, pene trating his long. He lies in a critical condition.
