The competition at the Bisley meeting for the McKinnon Challenge Cup took place in showers of rain, accompanied by a tricky wind, the weather conditions including also a hailstorm. England won the trophy with ft score of 1408, Canada being second with 1390 points, Australia next with 1374, Scotland 1351. At the first distance Australia scored 504, England being next with 500.
