MACDONALD MEMORIAL.
. *— In accordance with the request contained in the circular issued by the General Sir Hector Macdonald Memorial Committee, extracts from which we published a few days ago, we have opened a subscription list at this office for the Memorial. A copy of the circular which gives the record of the late General's military career and extracts from various episodes, in his long career in the Army, described by notable writers, may also be seen here. Ail subscriptions will be acknowledged in the columns of this paper.
