Press Association. Eectne Telegraph Copyright. London, Jnly 16. The Archbishop of Canterbury (Rer. Dr Davidson), assisted by twenty-five bishops, dedicated the Truro Cathedral in Cornwall. The Prince and Princess of Wales were present. King Edward sent • message of congratulation on the com* pletioa of the edifice. [The foundation stone of the Cathedral was laid by King Edward (then Prince of Wales) on 20th May, 1880, and the building was consecrated seven years later. The building, which was designed by Mr L. 0. Pearson, R.A., is built of granite in the Early English style, and includes a portion of the parish church of St. Mary, which is nearly four hundred years old. The Cathedral is 300f fc long by 109 ft across the transepts, and has a central tower 2oOft, and two western towers 200 ft high ]
