A Bank holiday has been proclaimed in the county and city of Dublin for the 21st, the date of the arrival of the King and Queen. A similar holiday will be observed when they visit Belfast and Londonderry.
- The Dublin Gazette publishes an Order-in-Council freeing the remaining districts in Ireland from the operation of the Coercion Act.
